Have lunch around Kyoto Station and then stroll to Kyoto Aquarium. You can enjoy different scenery with each season, with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.

Immediately after entering the aquarium, in the "Kyo no kawa" area, you will be greeted by a giant salamander. With its round eyes, large mouth, and cute, rounded paws, the more you look at it, the more adorable it becomes.
If you're lucky, you might even see them sticking their mouths out of the water to breathe.

The large "Kyo no umi" aquarium recreates the rich seas of Kyoto. You can either stand close to the tank and observe the creatures, or just relax and enjoy the view of the whole thing. Enjoy the world of "Kyo no umi" wherever you like.

From 12:30 it's time for feeding time in the large aquarium. The animal care staff will hand feed the animals. Please enjoy the unique communication that can only be seen at this time.

The "Kurage Wonder" area on the second floor displays approximately 30 species of jellyfish.

In the 360-degree panoramic aquarium "GURURI," you can see a fantastical underwater space filled with moon jellyfish. At the "Kyoto Jellyfish Research Department," which breeds, raises, and researches jellyfish, you can watch the animal care staff prepare food for the jellyfish and change the water. Feel free to ask the animal care staff anything you're curious about.

At the Dolphin Stadium, you can observe dolphins swimming energetically with the scenery of Umekoji Park in the background.

During the "Dolphin School" program, which is held three times a day, you can see the well-coordinated communication between the animal care staff and the dolphins.

Eating and drinking is permitted in the stadium, so you can relax with your favorite food and drink purchased from the Stadium Cafe.
