The museum has ramps and elevators, so you can enter with a stroller. Large luggage can be left in the coin lockers at the entrance. Now, let's go meet the animals!

The U-shaped glass-enclosed tank allows you to enjoy the view from the perspective of the fur seals as they swim. You can enjoy the various expressions of the fur seals, from their dynamic swimming movements to sometimes just resting on top of the tank. When you enter the U-shaped tank, you will feel as if you are swimming with the fur seals in the ocean. The observation window, which feels like a hideaway, is also perfect for taking commemorative photos.

In the "Penguin" area, you can watch about 50 African penguin enjoying their time in their own way right before your eyes.
Take photos while comparing heights at the illustrated panels depicting penguins from around the world.

If you time it right, you might even get to see "feeding time," where the zookeeper calls each bird by name and feeds them. Enjoy this lively program.

On the second floor, "Communication Hall" is hosting workshops that both children and adults can experience.

The craft experience allows you to learn about animals from various perspectives in a fun way, and the content changes with the seasons, so you can enjoy a new experience every time you visit.

There are three cafes within the building, selling a variety of animals with a living creature motif.
There is a wide variety of dishes on offer, from classics like hamburgers and steamed meat buns to seasonal specials.
How about some cute food as a memento of your visit to the aquarium?

Once you've filled your stomach, enjoy the animals program "Dolphin School" in the open-air "Dolphin Stadium."

You can see the dolphins in a variety of different scenes, such as eating their meals and playing while communicating with their trainers.

To commemorate your visit to Kyoto Aquarium, be sure to pick up animals merchandise at the museum shop.
