About the facilities
For those with children
We have a nursing room where babies can relax, and clean toilets for infants that can be used safely by children who have just graduated from diapers.
It can be used by both dads and kids.
Baby rest room
There are three baby rest rooms in the building, each equipped with a hot water sink and a nursing room.

It is equipped with purified water and hot water for preparing formula.
Diaper changing space
There are a total of eight tables in the building where you can change baby diapers.

Multipurpose toilets are located in the baby rest room.
Children's toilet
The building is equipped with urinals for boys and toilets with toilet seats for children.

There are a total of four urinals for small boys in the building.

There are a total of 10 toilets with child-sized toilet seats in the building.
Barrier-free access
The building employs universal design to ensure that all guests can enjoy themselves in comfort and safety.
Multipurpose toilet
There are a total of four wheelchair-accessible multi-purpose toilets within the building.

There is also a multipurpose toilet for ostomates.
Moving around the building
There are gentle slopes and elevators connecting the upper and lower floors in various locations. Wheelchairs are also available for rental (free of charge), so please ask a member of staff.

Advance reservations are not possible and numbers are limited.

There are ramps and elevators so you can easily move around while pushing a wheelchair or stroller.
Those with a disability certificate
Those who present a disability certificate and one accompanying person will receive half the admission price of the general admission price.
See below for how to purchase tickets.
Handle-type electric wheelchair
Electric wheelchairs with handles (senior cars) are not permitted inside the venue.
About assistance dogs
Assistance dogs such as guide dogs are allowed.
About AEDs
They are installed in two locations in the building (one on the first floor and one on the second floor).

Re-entry
When re-entering, please present your ticket at the entrance.
Student fees
If you purchased your ticket at the student rate, please present your student ID card at the entrance.
- If you do not present it, you may be charged the adult rate.
About Annual Passports
Passports are valid only for the holder. Fees cannot be refunded, the name cannot be changed, and the passport cannot be transferred or lent.
- If you forget your passport, you will be charged the regular admission fee.
Cameras and video recording
Photography is permitted, however, please refrain from using flash photography inside the facility to protect the animals.
- Please use the facility for taking photos and videos for personal enjoyment only. Commercial photography is prohibited.
- Live streaming is prohibited.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited inside the building.
Regarding bringing items into the library
Please refrain from viewing the exhibit while carrying large (or long) luggage such as kick scooters or carry-on bags as this will cause inconvenience to other visitors.
- If staff deems it inappropriate to bring in any items, they may ask you to leave.
- You may bring your own packed lunch. Please use the benches in the Fur Seal, Seal, and Dolphin Stadiums, and Sanshisuimei (The Beauty of Nature). Eating and drinking is not permitted in other exhibition areas.
Regarding bringing pets and other animals
Children cannot be brought into the building.
- However, assistance dogs such as guide dogs are permitted.
- We cannot accept any deposits.
Actions that we will refuse
If the museum determines that your behavior is causing inconvenience to neighboring residents or other guests, you may be refused entry.
