Use for private events and parties

The entire building can be rented out (using the unique venue) for corporate customers for in-house events, training, reception parties, etc. You can choose the area you want to rent out depending on your needs and the number of people in your party.

Plan A: Large tank up to 2nd floor

Use for wedding ceremonies and pre-wedding photo shoots

After regular business hours or before, you can hold a wedding ceremony in front of the large aquarium and take commemorative photos with the animals tank in the background.
This plan is for corporations that operate bridal businesses and photo studios.

Usage plan examples

  • Photo shoot with giant salamanders in the "The River of Kyoto" area (15 minutes)
  • "The Sea of Kyoto" Large Aquarium: Take photos with the dynamic and highly transparent aquarium as the background (25 minutes)
  • "Kurage Wonder," 360-degree aquarium "GURURI," and other fantastical areas (20 minutes)

Use on filming locations

Outside of normal business hours, the facility is available for filming of movies, dramas, commercials, music videos, etc.

Basic fee

Starting from 100,000 yen per hour per area
(Negotiable depending on scale and content)

  • We cannot accept applications from individuals, regardless of whether they are for graduation projects/research, club activities, societies, study use, or for-profit or non-profit purposes.

You will also need to agree to the terms of use to use the service.

Precautions for use

  • In consideration of the impact on the animals inside the facility, there are restrictions on the performances (lighting, sound, etc.) that can be implemented. Also, we ask that you completely vacate the facility by the contracted time (in the case of a rental event or party, all guests must leave the facility).
  • For private events and parties, the application deadline is 75 days in advance. Please note that we may not be able to hold your event on the date and time you request.
  • Please return the venue to its original state after the event. If any damage is caused, please compensate for the damage or make repairs.
  • If your intentional actions have an impact on animals, please take responsibility and act accordingly.

What cannot be used inside the library

  • Using fire (cooking and events)
  • An event with intense movement of light and shadow
  • Glassware (glasses, etc.) *Items used on catering counters, etc. are permitted.
  • Heavy bass sounds (drums, hand drums, subwoofers, etc.) Please consult us on a case-by-case basis.
